Many people today are operating under the false assumption that all Christian believers are ignorant. They mistakenly believe that somehow a respect for science and a belief in an all powerful Creator are at odds – that one cannot be a scientist, and be a Christian.
The truth is, one can be a believer and a scientist, and plenty are. Why? Because the one true God was and is the Creator and sustainer of all things, “visible and invisible” (hat would include dark matter, and dark energy by the way). This Creator is the source of all time, space and matter – in scientific terms, the ‘cosmological singularity’. The un-caused First Cause. The God that is outside time and space. The One on whom all things are “contingent”.
There really is no contradictions between true science, and the Creator, nor can there be. True science will point to the Creator, inevitably.
