End Times Sign: The Stage is Being Set with the Rollout of the Digital Dollar 

There is an interesting phrase in the End Time Book of Revelation that has fascinated and intrigued millions for nearly 2,000 years:

¹⁷ and that no one may buy or sell except one who has ^[a]the mark or the name of the beast,
or the number of his name.  ¹⁸ Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding
calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man:
His number is 666.  (Rev 13: 17-18)

The prophecy states that there will come a time at the end of the age when no one will be able to “buy or sell” without a mark.  For thousands of years people have been buying and selling using coinage, and then paper currency.  During the 20th century credit and debit cards made their debut, and an increasing amount of commerce has been conduced electronically, using credit cards.

A One World Economy is Being Prepared

This has only been possible through the using of wire transfers, and the internet, which began to rollout world wide at the beginning of the 1990’s. Now more business is transacted online that at physical stores or markets.  However, the problems with using cash, coins, and credit cards have been mounting. The government, banks and businesses are losing billions due to having to handle case, credit cards, and conducting transactions over the internet.

The current system of cash, cards, and wire transfers will be replaced.  The stage is being set, even now, for a new “digital dollar” to replace all this, paving the way for “the mark of the beast” to arise as the final payment system in the End Times.  The new “Fed Coin” or digital currency which is being prepared now can’t be the “mark of the beast”, since no beast or Anti-Christ has arisen ()yet).  But the stage is being set. .

Why Governments, Banks and Businesses Will Push for a Digital Currency

Governments, banks, and other institutions are loosing billions every year due to credit card fraud, the inherent costs of handling cash, money laundering, theft, and counterfeiting.  This is all due to the problems inherent in:

• Physical cash – time consuming to handle; carries viruses and disease; can be lost or stolen, and can be faked via counterfeiting
  • Business are losing out due to the costs of cash: for businesses, paper money has to be managed: it must be stored, guarded, and accounted for. It can be difficult to transport and is inherently insecure. U.S. retail businesses lose about $40 billion annually because of the theft of cash alone.
  • The government is losing out due to cash: estimates are that the annual value of under-reported taxes in the United States is $400 billion to $600 billion. According to estimates, 52% of this gap is because of under-reporting by self-employed taxpayers. If even half of this under-reporting is directly enabled by a cash economy, the U.S. Treasury loses at least $100 billion annually because of cash.

• Credit cards – can easily be lost or stolen, requiring replacement cards to be issued at additional; Losses run into the billions every year, amounting to $28.58 billion during 2020

The other reason why a new digital currency will be championed by government and business is due to the flaws in the current system or wiring money and processing payments.  The current system flaws include:

• Single point of failure -your money is stored only in one place: in your bank account, credit/debit card account, savings or other account. If your account is hacked, or otherwise compromised, you loose.
• Insufficient security – Traditional account are vulnerable to fraud and hacking. Often multi-factor authentication is required to access accounts, requiring additional time and costs

According to an analysis by IBM, :the “blockchain” technology that will be the transport mechanism for the new digital currency will address the shortcoming inherent in cash, credit cards, and the current money system:

“… blockchain delivers even more business benefits, including the cost savings from increased speed, efficiency, and automation. By greatly reducing paperwork and errors, blockchain significantly reduces overhead and transaction costs, and reduces or eliminates the need for third parties or middlemen to verify transactions. The Two Key Signs Signaling the Tribulation: 1) A Great “Falling Away”, and 2) the Rise of the Beast or Anti-Christ

The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 that there will be two key signs that will signal the advent of the Tribulation – the final seven year period of history

“Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, ² not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled,
either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of ^[a]Christ had come.
³ Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless
the falling away comes first, and the man of ^[b]sin is revealed, the son of perdition,”

1) The Great Falling Away is Happening Now

We are presently in the year 2022, and according to many sources, a “great falling away” or apostacy has already begun. Millions of people who had proclaimed themselves to be Christ followers have “fallen away” or left the faith. Churches are practically empty across Europe, and many of the organized Christian denominations have lost millions of member over the past 10 years (especially during the Covid so-called crisis). 2) The Beast Will Soon Arise Out of the “Sea” of Humanity

The second sign, “the man of sin revealed”, has yet to happen.  This man of sin is none other that the Anti-Christ, the imposter of Jesus Christ, the real Lord of Lord and King of Kings.  This beast will arise from the nations, or “sea”, when troubles have become so great that the nations will cry out for a world leader to step forth, and show them courage, hope and leadership for the future.  He will be a man of vision and charisma, and will cause many to be deceived, and follow him – proclaiming his as their “lord” and master.

This :beast that will come forth from the nations is otherwise known in Scripture as the “Anti-Christ”, for he is the last and final counterfeit Christ to come forth on the face of the earth. The “dragon”, or Satan, is empowering this final fake Christ as it is he that is representing the evil Satan to the world (with all sorts of lying deceit and wonders).

The one world government is in the making, and the Anti-Christ may already be among us – just waiting for his moment to arise from the sea of humanity. And he will, once the world is so traumatized that it will cry our for a world leader, a savior that they can follow. A leader who will promise them deliverance from the tribulation that is upon them.  What form will this tribulation take?  If may be several things –

• A war or wars looming in the Middle east, or Asia
• Yet another terrible pandemic – even worse that what we have seen
• A world-wide economic crash due to the instability of economies
• Lawless that is out of control

When these tribulations begin to take place, people will be paralyzed with fear. They will look to a world leader that they  can follow. One who is good looking, charming, and brilliant.  And has a plan to attack all these challenges, and bring them relief.  He will be the great deceiver, who will fool the world and take them captive.

With These Two Key Signs in Place, History will Enter a Final Stage

Once the great “fallen away” has completed, the “times of the Gentiles” will be fulfilled. World history will enter a final stage, as the number of those that have given their lives to Christ and become members of Christ body, the church, will have become completed.  At this point, God will begin dealing once again with his bride, the nation of Israel.

All eyes will be turned once again to the Middle East.  Israel will become a “stone of stumbling” to the nations, and war will be looming there.  Other calamities will engage, and the world be at a precipice.  Everything will be in place for the Anti-

Christ to appear:

• The great “falling away” will have taken place;
• The framework for a one world government will be in place
• A digital currency will be rolled out, setting the stage for buying and selling via a “mark of the beast”

The beast will arise from the nation. He will mesmerize people, having an amazing plan to bring peace to the world. All will hail him, except those that follow the one and Only True Lord – Jesus Christ. Those that wish to survie the pestilence, and calamities, will be asked to ear a “mark”, and take a number so that they may buy and sell — and survive. Those that refuse allegiance will be shut out of the world system, and have to make their own way, or starve.

Christians, true believers, will refuse the “mark”, or symbol of allegiance to the Anti-Christ. As they always have.  And they will be persecuted, and be killed for their faith in Christ, as it is recorded in the End Times Book of Revelation.  But great will be their reward in Heaven, as their names are written in the “Book of Life”. They will shine like the stars of heaven, and reign with Christ and the millions of other saints when He returns to the earth at the close of the seven year Tribulation period.

Yes, the evil one and his Anti-Christ lose out in the end. And Jesus, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, will return to conquer and take back the earth and its kingdoms.  And He will reign forever, and ever, and ever.  Amen.
