Iraqi journalist Dahlia al-Aqidi recently launched the “We Are All Christians” campaign to protest the displacement of Mosul’s Christians at the hands of the “Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant” (ISIL).

Al-Aqidi, who is from a Sunni family, wore a cross to confirm her support for this cause. The journalist, who works for “Houna Baghdad”, asked Iraqi artists to design a poster for the popular campaign that will be distributed around the world. She also asked people to wear the cross to express solidarity with Iraqi Christians who are suffering from ISIL’s repressive tactics.
