The Stage is Being Set for an Eventual “Mark of the Beast” with the Rollout of the Digital Dollar 

There is an interesting phrase in the End Time Book of Revelation that has fascinated and intrigued millions for nearly 2,000 years:

¹⁷ and that no one may buy or sell except one who has ^[a]the mark or the name of the beast,
or the number of his name.  ¹⁸ Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding
calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man:
His number is 666.  (Rev 13: 17-18)

The prophecy states that there will come a time at the end of the age when no one will be able to “buy or sell” without a mark. For thousands of years people have been buying and selling using coinage, and then paper currency. During the 20th century credit and debit cards made their debut, and an increasing amount of commerce has been conduced electronically, using credit cards.

The problems with the current forms of payment are multiple. Cash is costly to handle and process, cannot be tracked, and can be lost or stolden. Credit cards are subject to theft and fraud. The present system or wiring money can be hacked. All this amounts to hundred of billions of dollars lost to the government, the banks, and business.

They want to put cash and credit cards, along with the vulnerable wiring system, to bed, and replace it with a “digital dollar”.

A new digital dollar is being tested, and may soon be adopted as the backbone of all currencies. As it will feature a design that will eliminate theft, fraud, and the loss of billions of dollars to governments, banks, and businesses, this “fed coin” as it has been called will soon obsolete all other forms of payment.

When that great imposter, the “Anti-Christ”, appears out of the nations to save us from the tribulations that have arisen – famine, wars, yet another horrible pandemic – people will applaud this new world leader and his remarkable plans for peace and safety. Governments and people around the globe will salute him, and eventually worship him as “lord”. A “mark” of allegiance will be adopted by the leader and the government, and all who wish to buy or sell will be forced to use this “digital mark” to take part in the economy, and survive.

Those that refuse the “mark” will be labelled as “unbelievers”, and will be persecuted – and eventually be put to death. These are actually the true believer in Jesus Christ, and so although they will suffer persecution, great will be their reward in heaven, and in the New Heavens and Earth that will follow this last 7 year period in history.

This “digital dollar” that is now in process of rolling out is yet another amazing prophecy coming true concerning the approach end of the age. What does that mean to Christians? What does that mean to unbelievers?

For Christians, we should not fear, but rather be excited that the time is short, and we should busy ourselves with sharing our faith with others who don’t know Jesus. So many signs are happening right before our very eyes that have never happened in the past, and indeed were not even possible until now. For unbelievers, the time is also short as well. The Bible says “today is the day of salvation”. Why wait?
