Added New Article: Baha’i Faith vs. Christianity

Greetings in the Lord.

I recently added a new article on this web site, under the tab “For Seekers”.  The article is about comparing the Baha’i religion with Christianity.  Baha’is claim that one can believe in and adopt the Baha’i teachings, and at the same time be a Christian.  But when examines what the Baha’is teach and believe, and what the bible and Jesus taught, one can easily see a number of stark contradictions.  One cannot be a Baha’i and a Christian.

This is not to say that Baha’is are not well meaning people, and trying to do good in the world.  But this is a “way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is the way of death”.  Believing in the Baha’i teachings, praying their prayers, and practicing Baha’i virtues cannot save a person.  For “all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God”.  We are all sinners, in need of a Savior.  The good news is that God has “provided Himself a Lamb” to take away the sins of the world – and that Lamb is Jesus Christ.

Religion cannot save. And that is what Baha’i has in common with all of the other wayward religions of the work..It is a religion, teaching prayers, and that practicing good works and noble truths can lead to one taking on more and more of the “divine nature”. In contrast, Christianity is a relationship.  A relationship with the Father, the Creator and Sustainer of all living things, through His one and only Son, Jesus Christ.  Only Jesus has the ability to save a person from the “sin nature”, and to bring a person back into a right-standing relationship with the Lord.
