The Persian people have suffered for 47 years under oppression. Now the 47th president leads the effort to free the Persian people. The effort began on Purim, a celebration to commemorate how the Jewish people were freed from certain death by the efforts of Esther, a beautiful Jewish woman who had become queen of ancient Persia. The Bible records that she was courageous and cheated death when she showed up unannounced at the King’s court. By exposing the wicked Haman, essentially the king’s enforcer, she was able to secure the freedom of the Jewish people from a death sentence.

The Bible declares Esther was used by God, and “made for such a time as this”. Recall the 47th president narrowly cheated death by dodging a bullet aimed straight at him. He has gone on to carefully and courageously work to free the Persian people from a wicked Islamic ruler. If that wasn’t enough, a “blood red moon” appeared on March 3rd, at around 3 am over the skies of much of the globe. 3rd month, 3rd day, at 3 in the morning.

It’s interesting that the number three is one of God’s sacred numbers, and that a blood-red moon in the Bible is an omen of the approaching end times. Thankfully, this Purim, the Persian people – like Israel- are also joyfully celebrating their freedom from tyranny.

Could it also be that the US president was also “made for such a time as this”?
