What Does the Bible Say about the Crucifixion and a Blood Moon?

- Luke 23:44–45 says darkness covered the land from noon to 3pm as Jesus hung on the cross. That evening,
- Acts 2:20 says the moon “turned to blood,” fulfilling prophecy.

While some scholars suggest AD 30 as another possibility, the AD 33 date is more widely accepted.
