I ran across a very cool website this past week – GODLife.com – which has been in place for some time, yet somehow I was unaware of it. I took time to check it out, and it is very cool. Its a web-based ministry that seeks to be a helpful resource to seekers looking to find God, as well as helping new believers grow and deepen their faith. Some key features:

• About Jesus – letting you know more about Jesus, who He was and is, and how He can make all th difference in your life
• Access to a free Bible app in your own language, that you can downlead and take with you on your mobile phone wherever you go
• Journey of Discovery – Answers the big questions in life that you and many others have
• How to Pray – a 5 step starter guide that teaches you how to pray
• GodLife Communities – an online community with resources designed to equip those seeking to learn more about Jesus and help people grow in their faith.
• New believers Guide – a series of articles designed to show you how to walk in the new life Christ has given you— a life of faith and freedom.
• GodLife TV – Check out great video and audio discipleship content!
• Explore God – a safe place for you to ask your spiritual questions and find easy-to-understand information. Explore God helps you explore, experience, and engage in God’s plans for your life
• Look to Jesus – Have you ever felt a little lost and wished there was a quick-start guide to your relationship with God? This is it!
• Weekly Devotional – Every week the devotional gives you a key scripture, encourages you in your walk with Jesus, extra resources and a guidance for praying that week.
• 30 Day Next Steps – John Beckett, a leading Christian businessman, has written a series to read over 30 days for new believers

The GODLife.com website was founded by CRU (previously Campus Crusade for Christ), and has been around since 2004. The website is a ministry of Global Media Outreach, which has a number of other sites as well. Their mission is to spread the gospel – the “good news” of what Jesus Christ has done to save mankind – through electronic media = ie., the web, videos, chat, etc.

Thus far they have reached

• 2.6 billion people worldwide
• Over 295 million people have indicated their decision to follow Christ

And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:11-12
