Or, Why Did God Allow Biden to Become President?

This past election many believers were troubled, believing that it was God’s will that Trump be elected for another four years; and yet when he wasn’t, many became dissolutioned, asking themselves “Where was God?  How could He allow this to happen?”

Now, while it is important for Christians to stand up for truth, and justice, and vote and campaign for the candidates that reflect Godly values in their polies and actions, its also important not to idolize a given candidate.  After all, we are all fallen creatures, and one must realize that only JESUS is our King of kings and Lord of lords.  As it says in Daniel:2:21:

He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings;
he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;

Clearly Biden stands for things that are in stark contrast to the Bible, and God’s teachings.  He claims to be a “devout Catholic”, yet supports the practice of abortion – which, according to the bible, is murder – the taking of pre-born babies lives which God ordained. Recognizing this, of course believers faithful to God’s teachings could not in good conscience vote for him.  Yet he got elected (whether by honest election, or fraud, I am not sure – but nevertheless he was elected).

Using a Biblical Lens: Could it Be that God’s Purposes are Being Served?

If we step back for a moment, and look at the election and what has transpired though the lens of the Bible, perhaps things will start to make a little more sense – in terms of seeing them from God’s perspective.

Remember, it really important to realize that the way God does things is USUALLY not the way you or I would do them.  For He says in Isaiah 55:8-9:

 

Because many believers love America so much, along with the principles it was founded on, they were bound and determined to see President Trump get re-elected.  But remember, God’s ways are not our ways, and neither are our thoughts His thoughts.  As far as the heavens are above the earth, so are His thoughts and ways to ours.  So could it be that the Lord allowed Joe Biden to become the 46th President of the United States for His purposes?  Has God used other despots in the past to accomplish His purposes. Yes, of course.  One of the most powerful rulers in all of history, Nebuchadnezzar, was chosen and used by God for His purposes.  And He has chosen and moved others into power when it has served His purposes. 

Why Would God Choose Biden at this Point in History?

So the question remains, why would God allow Biden to become elected?  I think there are several reasons if one looks at the Bible prophetic timescale. As you may know from our articles on the End Times, many end times signs have already been fulfilled —

• The Jews returning to their homeland after 2,000 years of being scattered across the entire planet
• Israel being planted once again as a nation, in 1948
• The desert in Israel blossoming forth, with all kinds of trees, fruit, and springs from the barren desert
• Travel and knowledge has become greatly increased, like never before
• Lawlessness abounding, with the love of many growing cold
• Pestilences (ie, Covid-19, HIV, etc), famines in increasing measure
• Earthquakes in diverse places increasing

These are just some of the end times signs that have and are being fulfilled.  But there are some KEY end end times signs that must happen BEFORE the great and terrible “Day of the Lord”, a time of God’s judgement upon the ungodly on the earth.  It may be that Biden was allowed into power to usher in these very key remaining events that would immediately precede the Day of the Lord.

Why Biden?  To Accelerate God’s Timetable Toward the End Times

During the early church period, there was confusion by some in the Thessalonian church that perhaps the Lord had already come, and that they were already in the midst of the final seven year period of Tribulation judgement that was to fall upon the earth (spoken of by Daniel the prophet). Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles, wrote two letters to this church, to clear up this confusion, and to remind them that the Day of the Lord (that final 7 year period of Tribulation) will NOT come until two things happen first:

1) a great “falling away” from the faith, and
2) that the “man of sin” (the anti-Christ) be revealed.

Here is what the Lord spoke through Paul:

2 Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him,
 we ask you, brothers and sisters, ² not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come. 
³ Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first. and the man of sin is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. ⁴ He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

So let’s be clear – there are a few remaining signs that await us, and which must take place before the final countdown to the End Times begins:

1. God must be taken out of the culture, replaced with a godless culture; and a there must be a great “falling away” from the true faith
2. The stage must be set so that Israel will be alone in the world, surrounded on all sides, threatened by her adversaries with an attack
3. There must be a rapid formation of the “new world order” and the “man of sin” must be revealed who can bring peace, that is, the “anti-Christ”

First, Biden and his policies are hastening a Great “Falling Away”

The great falling away is already underway.  The new Biden administration pretends to be “of faith”, but the facts say otherwise. The opening of Congress with done with a prayer to “brama” no less – a false god!  This has never happened in the history of the U.S., and yet this administration as opened its year with a prayer to a false god.  One of the first acts passed with to refund Planned Parenthood with tax dollar to murder pre-born children – another abominations in the eyes of God. 

The church, or “the body of Christ”, is going through a transformation.  The “goats” or false believers are leaving churches, and the “sheep” or true believers are banding closer together. An article in The Christian Post, dated August 26, 2020 reports that as many as 1 in 5 church congregations may close as a result of the Coronavirus.  The article points out:

• What is really at the core of the dropping attendance?  About 1/5 of the attendees were apparently going to church to “get something” from the pastor or the service, They are attending church as if it were an entertainment service – one that should give them something of value – a “feel good” experience.  As opposed to being there to worship God, giving thanks for His love, care, and provision, and to fellowship with other believers. Although many churches are now re-opening, “there are a lot less people coming”
• Many of the church attendees did not feel that the “relationships” were as deep as they thought
• Donations are being affected, since attendees are not seeing the “value” that they were expecting from church attendance

A great divide within the church is taking place in the U.S., and perhaps elsewhere. Many are going after the god of materialism, worshiping the state as it was intended to meet all of their needs.  They are espousing a religion of “secular humanism”, where truth is relative, and each person is in a sense their “own god”. 

The other half of the picture are those that truly worship God, and look for a city not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.  At the same time that this great “Falling Away” is occurring, God is pouring out His Spirit on the faithful remnant within the church through revival across the U.S., preparing His Bring for His soon return. They know that this world is passing away, that Jesus is coming SOON, and that God’s plans with stand no matter what.

Second, With Trump Gone Israel is Left to Stand Alone Against the World

A prophecy in Zechariah says that Israel will be made to be a “heavy stone” for all the peoples, and that all the nation as will be gathered against it.

“Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. “It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.” Zechariah 12:2-3

It is well known that the United Nations had repeated passed resolution after resolution condemning Israel.  And most recently, Iran has pass a resolution affirming that it will “destroy” Israel for the year 2041. 

With Trump in power, no one dared attack Israel.  The world’s greatest super-power, the U.S., stood ready to defend Israel.  Indeed, the Prime Minister of Israel called Trump Israel’s greatest friend.  Trump had revoked the nuclear treaty with Iran, and had placed heavy pressure on Iran no to develop nuclear weapons. But with Trump out of the picture, Biden is already at work reviving the nuclear treaty with Iran. Iran is already working once again to develop nuclear weapons with with the goal of carrying out its plan of wiping Israel off the map.   

This will Precipitate an End Times Attack Upon Israel, and God will Intervene!

In the Book of Ezekiel, there is a last days prophecy that has yet to be fulfilled.  It talks about Israel having been brought back to its land, dwelling in safety, when suddenly a group of invading armies suddenly pounce upon Israel.  Ezekiel 38-39 speaks about the Invasion of Israel by Gog, of the land of Magog:

38 The word of the Lord came to me: ² “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of^[a] Meshek and Tubal; prophesy against him ³ and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of^[b] Meshek and Tubal. ⁴ I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. ⁵ Persia, Cush^[c] and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, ⁶ also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you.

⁷ “‘Get ready; be prepared, you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them. ⁸ After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. 

It is important to understand that THIS HAS NOT YET HAPPENED.  Gog is the name of the leader of this invading force from Magog, an ancient name for Russia to the north. Along with this force will be Persia, or modern day Iran.  Plus other allies They will descend upon the mountains of Israel, to a people who have been gathered from many nations, who seek to dwell in safety. 

It says further that the Lord will strike this invading army, and that on the mountains of Israel the invading armies will fall. Their bodies will be food for the birds and wild animals. 

39 “Son of man, prophesy against Gog and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of^[a] Meshek and Tubal. 
² I will turn you around and drag you along. I will bring you from the far north and send you against the mountains of Israel. ³ Then I will strike your bow from your left hand and make your arrows drop from your right hand. 
⁴ On the mountains of Israel you will fall, you and all your troops and the nations with you.
I will give you as food to all kinds of carrion birds and to the wild animals. ⁵ You will fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Sovereign Lord. ⁶ I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the Lord.⁷ “‘I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will no longer let my holy name be profaned, and the nations will know that I the Lord am the Holy One in Israel. ⁸ It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign Lord. This is the day I have spoken of.

With Trump out of the way, and Biden elected, the scene can now be set for this final end end times prophecy. The U.S. will distance itself from Israel, playing up the role of Palestine in the region.  The U.S. is already allowing Iran (Persia) to strengthen it nuclear capability.  The United Nations will no doubt redouble its efforts to condemn Israel.  The stage will be set for invasion, and this will allow God Himself to intervene and strike these invading armies in their tracks!

Third, a New World Order Must be Formed, and the “Man of Sin” Must be Revealed

The third event that must happen is the formation of the “new world order”, and the one world ruler, the “anti-Christ”, must be revealed.  Now in order to have a one world ruler that everyone gives their allegiance to, you must have several things in place:

1. You must have a one-world governmental system in place, or being formed
2. You cannot have a super-power like the U.S. standing in the way of such a one world system
3. You must have increasing calamities that plague the world and its people, throwing them into such fear, that they look to a great leader to give them hope, and a sense they will pull through the horrible challenges.

With Trump elected for another 4 years, such a one world system would never have gotten off the ground.  Trump had already with drawn the U.S. from the WHO, and the Paris Climate Accords.  With his America first mantra, the U.S. was a major stumbling block in the march toward forming a one world government.  If the one world system was to take shape, Trump had to go, in favor of a president that would lend support for a “new world order”.

Biden’s Globalist Policies and His Support for a Coming “Great Reset” and One World Order

During his first week in office, Biden has already rejoined the Paris Climate Accords, a supporting organization to the new world order.  He further reinstated the U.S. membership in the World Health Organization (WHO).  

Despite having sold himself as a “moderate” Democrat for decades, Biden has consistently shown that his views on globalism and America’s place in the world are far from mainstream. This argument is best proven by examining Biden’s close ties to the World Economic Forum, which is now pushing for a remarkably troubling “Great Reset” of capitalism, and the many statements Biden has made over the past several years echoing Great Reset ideology.

The Great Reset movement has been widely adopted by numerous world leaders, including the head of the United Nations, Prince Charles, the International Monetary Fund, international trade unions, and CEOs of major corporations. Using the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change as the justifications for a fundamental transformation of the world’s economy, the Great Reset movement aims to destroy modern capitalism and replace it with a one work system that embraces numerous left-wing social programs, such as basic income systems and the Green New Deal, as well as force all corporations around the world to adopt leftist social justice causes. If it happens, and things are shaping up to look that way, the Great Reset will usher in a new world order.  And given that the timing is right for a new world “leader” to come on the scene to bring peace, the anti-Christ will make his appearance.  

With that, the End Times or “Day of the Lord’ will have truly begun. 

In Conclusion, these Events will Usher in the Great “Day of the Lord”

When considering the bigger picture, through the lens of Scripture, it should not surprise you that Biden was allowed to be elected to office.  Though his policies were for the good of America, protecting the unborn, and preserving the principles upon which this great republic was founded, Trump had to be moved aside for God’s prophetic timetable to engage and move the world toward its final Last Days. 

God is separating the “goats” from the “sheep”, allowing a great Falling Away to occur to reveal those who truly love Him, and are willing to give their all for their maker and Redeemer. A remnant is taking shape, and God is indeed bring revival, and pouring out His Spirit upon those that believe and receive Him.  He is preparing His Bride for His soon return before the great and terrible “Day of the Lord” (the last seven year period of terrible Tribulation that will fall upon all those who remain and dwell on the earth).

He is preparing Israel to stand along against the whole world, and to prepare for a final invasion. When this occurs, God promises that He will be faithful to Israel, and strike the invading armies with fire and brimstone from heaven – and they will fall upon the mountains of Israel, and be food for the birds and wild animals.  The all of Israel will know that God has saved them, and there will be a great turning back to the Lord within Israel.

Finally, with Trump aside and Biden in power, the movement toward a one world system is quickly taking shape.  The Covid pandemic has caused a spirit of fear to blanket the earth, such that people are fearful for thir skin, and seek safety from the pestilence.  Rumors are that another more dreadful pandemic is being prepared to further frighten people, and drive then to be vaccinated and receive a “Common Pass” by when they will be able to travel, go to events, and buys and sell.  People will be increasingly willing to give up their freedom for a promise of safety, however flimsy.  

When wars strike and begin to ravage the “new world order”, and people begin to cry out for peace, a handsome and brilliant leader will step out of the shadows, and promise a ready and willing population that he will be able to deliver them.  They will welcome this “anti-Christ” with open arms.  At that point, the final seven year period will have begun, known as the “Tribulation” or “Day of the Lord”.  Jesus described this time as unlike any other, and that unless He returns to put an end to this terrible Tribulation, “no flesh would have been saved”. 

The Bible promises that those who believe and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ are “not appointed unto wrath”, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.  The Lord promises to keep his church from the wrath that is to come.  Do you trust in Jesus?  Do you know the Lord?

But What if I Don’t Know the Lord?

For those that don’t know the Lord, the message of the Bible is that God loves you. If you were the ONLY person alive, He would still have died to to pay the penalty for your sins and bring you back into a relationship with Him (remember the parable of the lost sheep, how that Jesus left the 99 to search and retrieve the one that was lost!).  He dearly wants you to know Him and have eternal life!

Do you have a personal relationship with the Lord who created you, loves you unconditionally, and wants you to walk with Him?  If you do, then you have everything to look forward to – in this life, and in the life to come!  You were made for a purpose, and receiving the Lord into your heart and walking daily with Him will help you come to realize His purpose in your life and fulfill it.
